Ebony Hues began with a question: why was it so hard to find books, gifts, and cards that truly reflected our culture, our beauty, and our stories?
We started small — a carefully chosen collection of books by Black authors, a handful of greeting cards that spoke to real moments in our lives, and gifts that felt personal rather than generic. Word spread quickly. People weren't just buying products; they were finding pieces of themselves.
Today, Ebony Hues is a growing community of readers, gift-givers, and storytellers who believe representation matters — on the page, in the card you send, and in the gift you give.
Every book, gift, and card in our collection is hand-selected. We ask: does this uplift? Does this represent? Does this resonate? If the answer is yes, it earns a place on our shelves.
Ebony Hues was built for and by the community. We celebrate Black authors, Black artists, and the stories that have always deserved a wider stage.
From the packaging to the card inside, we believe the experience of giving and receiving should feel special — because the people in your life are worth it.
